36 weeks

Here are some recent photos of my belly. I am just starting my 36th week. We went to the doctor on Friday and he said that everything looks great. Haven is head down and ready to make her way into the world. I am so excited to meet her and to see what she looks like. I have still been feeling wonderful; hopefully that continues. We have done some more to her room, so I will be putting some pictures of that up soon.

Here are some pictures of Haven's room. It is not completely finished. We still need some decorations on the walls. Terry built the shelves that are in the closet.

Here are my 30 week belly bump pictures. It has definitely become more noticeable, especially when I sit down. Not only do I feel her more, but now I can see her moving. It sometimes looks like my stomach is moving around like a water bed. Today was the first day that I felt her have the hiccups. I thought that she was kicking me very lightly, but it lasted longer than normal and it was in a very distinct rhythmic pattern. Then had my cousin feel her "kicking." I mentioned how weird it was that it was lasting that long. She then enlightened me and said I think those are the hiccups. The light bulb went off and I thought well that is why it was lasting so long and they were so consistent. Duh!

29 weeks

We had an ultrasound yesterday. Her are some pictures of Haven's face. On the ultrasound we got to see her little feet and they were so cute. I think they look like Terry's because they were long and skinny:-) Everything is healthy and she is the right size for her birthday! This was a relief to Terry since the other day he asked if I was eating enough because he was afraid that she was small. His concern was because people were still telling me that I don't look big enough for 7 months. He is so cute! I will take some pictures this weekend of my belly so everyone can see how much I've grown.
I love being pregnant although my tailbone is still causing some pain. Haven's room is all painted we are just waiting on furniture and we are getting blinds put in next week. After the furniture is here I will start decorating the walls. I can't wait to get everything ready for her. I started washing some of the clothes and putting them away on these awesome shelves Terry built for the closet. It was so fun to fold those little outfits. It also made it feel very real. I can't wait to meet her.

Here are pictures of Haven and me at 26 weeks. Don't be fooled the clothing makes me look smaller than I am. I took my 26 week photos for my scrapbook with my bare belly and I am huge. I don't post those ones because believe me, no one wants to see that! Everyone at work seems to agree that as of this week I am finally really showing. People kept telling me it would happen overnight and it did.
I am still feeling pretty good and she is continuing to move around. I can sometimes tell where she is because my stomach is hard in certain spots, then she will move and it becomes squishy again. I still can't tell what part of her I am feeling yet. I had some back pain and tail bone problems for about a week and thought "if this continues I don't know if I will be able to move in a few weeks." By the end of the day I could barely get up from my chair. I think my back is still out, but I have tried to help it heal on its own. I haven't done much house work this week, I've been sitting on a pillow in my office at work, and sadly I have retired my high heels (at least for right now). Those changes have helped a lot and my back and tail bone are feeling much better.
Terry and I started our labor and delivery class. So far everything seems to be common sense, but it is always nice to hear it out loud. We have four more weeks of it and the instructor is going to teach us a lot of different birthing techniques so that we can choose what works for us when the time comes.
Haven's room is coming along. Terry is working really hard on the house and put up some beautiful wainscoting and crown molding in her room. I will post pictures of it once we get a little more done.

22 weeks along

Here are some recent pregnancy pictures. I am now 22 weeks (5 1/2 months). I am feeling great and loving every minute. My favorite thing is to lay in bed and just feel her move around. Terry and I have been doing a lot around the house. Our guest room is officially ready for visitors and we are going to move on to Haven's room next. Terry has been working incredible hard on all of our home improvement projects such as retiling our bathroom, making new kitchen cabinets and building shelves for the closet. He wants our house to be perfect for Haven's arrival.

Lots of Changes!

Our little girl is moving around a lot now. I can feel her all throughout the day and each time a litttle smile comes to my face. I never thought I would be that happy when someone kicked me in the stomach.
I spent last weekend in Phoenix registering and looking at baby stuff. It was so much fun. I think that little trip was my kickstart to get things going. I am so excited to get her room put together and the house all ready for her arrival. Let the "nesting" begin.
I will post some belly pictures soon. I think this month I have had the biggest change in my belly. It is sticking out more and is harder than it has been.

It is a Girl!

We are having a GIRL!  I was shocked because for this entire pregnancy I was convinced it was a boy.  I was so happy when we finally found out and I am excited to be having a little girl.  We are going to name her Haven Ann.  Her are two of her ultrasound pictures.

Tomorrow is THE DAY!

Tormorrow is the big day! We get to find out what we are having. I don't think I will even be able to sleep tonight. Hopefully the baby will cooperate, but knowing its daddy we can only HOPE! I will scan in pictures of the ultrasound as soon as I can.

Here are the much awaited pregnancy photos that people have been asking for.  I will be 18 weeks on Monday.  I only have a limited time when pictures can be taken since Terry works from 4-midnight right now, so we took these this morning (I am sure you can tell).  If we don't take them when we remember then we have to wait another week before we get the chance again.   We have an appointment on the 28th for our ultrasound, so we will let everyone know what "it" is after that.

Here are some more pics from Colorado

We were up in Colorado this last week.  It was great we went 4 wheeling in the FJ Cruiser and got to spend some time with Terry's family.  The weather was beautiful!!  Our dogs loved being able to play outside all day long.

Here We Go

I am now entering the world of blogging.  I figured since I will be showing soon and getting larger that it was about time I start one of these things so others could track my progress too.  I will add some pictures of my ever growing belly as it starts to protrude through my clothing.  Until then I will try to update you on any changes with the baby!
